This Privacy Policy applies only to the Dogs Dating mobile application.

Dogs Dating ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and share information when you use the Dogs Dating mobile app and related services (the "Service").

Dogs Dating is a UK-focused app for dog owners to discover other dog owners and communicate via in-app chat.

We may collect and process the following categories of information:

• Account information: email address.
• Profile information: name and city.
• Dog profile information: dog name, breed, gender, age/birth month & year, weight (optional), heat dates (optional), vaccinated/pedigree flags, and photos.
• User-generated content: profile text, dog information, photos and messages you choose to upload or send.
• Messages: content you send via chat (including timestamps and basic metadata).
• Notifications: if enabled, the app may send push notifications related to messages or activity in the Service.
• Technical data: basic logs required to operate and secure the Service.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account.
• Provide app features, including dog profiles, search and chat.
• Improve app performance and reliability.
• Maintain safety, prevent misuse and enforce our Terms.

We store data using Firebase services (Google Cloud). We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no system is 100% secure.

• With other users: your public profile and dog profile information, and chat messages to the relevant chat participant(s).
• With service providers: Firebase/Google Cloud to host and operate the Service.
• For legal reasons: if required by law or to protect rights, safety and security.

7. Data Retention

We keep your data for as long as you maintain an account or as needed to provide the Service. You can delete your account at any time, which will remove your profile, dogs, images and chats from our systems (subject to any technical limitations and backups). Account deletion can be requested directly from the Profile screen within the app.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

• Access your personal data.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Delete your account and associated data.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.

9. Children

The Service is not intended for individuals under 18.

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
